I haven’t counted the reviews that were turned in, but the stack measures 1.25 inches. One of the questions was, “What did you like best about this convention?” Not everyone answered the question, but those who did - to the number, said “Pati!” It has been suggested over and over that we invite you back! I am so thankful that you came to Eau Claire. I was so interested in your presentation that I didn’t miss a single word. As a storyteller, you are great. As a person you are wonderful. Thank you.”

“Hello Pati,
Thank you so very much for taking the time to come and present "Miss Potter" today. After speaking with other teachers, it seems the students truly enjoyed your presentation and display. I know the teachers themselves felt like students and learned quite a bit from you today. May God continue to bless you and your wonderful ministry! A side note you may appreciate: Two of my grandchildren attend our Preschool/PreKindergarten classes and I had them along with their 7 yr. old sister for an overnight on Friday. When it was bedtime, which is storytime at grandma's house - the 5 yr. old promptly found the storybook of "Peter Rabbit" and told me: Grandma, we learned about this today from the lady storyteller. Of course, we read it again, even though you had read it to the children and she also heard the story at rest time after lunch. I guess that just shows one can never have too much of Peter Rabbit!! Thank you again and God's blessings on your wonderful ministry! I'm praying I can have the opportunity to hear some of your other presentations.”

“I just wanted to let you know, your presentation to our 55+ group was very well received. Here is a note that was sent to us from an elderly gentleman who really enjoyed the day:
“Another winner! Thank you for arranging our Thursday’s Over 55+ gathering -
meal and entertainment. As a Depression Era baby, I could identify with so much of
the presentation. My maternal grandmother was one of 21 children! Many
descendants of theirs lived in the area of my youth - providing many fond
memories, some of which were reawakened.”
Thank you again for making our event a huge success!”

I was blessed to attend LADIES ON THE LAWN at Rockpoint Church last Wednesday night. Thank you for your ministry of storytelling. You transported me to the home of Corrie ten Boom and she became very real to me. What encouragement she is to me of how God is with us even in the darkest hour. In Christ Jesus she overcame evil, even to forgive her enemies. Thank you for sharing her story so very well!

Have you ever said “yes” to something and thought later, “Why did I make that commitment?” That happened to me during the bust Christmas season when I was invited to a Christmas Tea featuring storyteller Pati Kachel. Did I really have a morning to sip tea and listen to a storyteller? Then I heard Pati’s presentation. I left thinking, “Wow! That was one of the most memorable presenters I’ve ever heard!” With her humorous, heartwarming, and Christ-focused storytelling, she personally touched me with stories that made my own Christmas past and present more meaningful. Was I ever glad I had come! She is simply one of the most joy-filled women I have ever met and I’m very excited that I will have the opportunity to hear more of her stories at the women’s retreat.

Thanks to your wonderful presentation, “A Patchwork Quilt of Heartwarming Stories” our first-ever Spring Teatime was a huge success. Our circle has received countless thanks, appreciation, and praise for having such a gifted Christian Storyteller at St. James. Thank you so much for your inspiring stories as you related them to the ladies. We so appreciated you traveling north to share an evening with us. I heard many positive comments of your theme, “Bloom Where You’re Planted.” It certainly is a subject in which we all can relate, and you “decorated” the theme so well in words and in your props. "Dear Pati, As I write this note, my heart is full of gratitude. I can honestly say, in all my years as an educator and library director, your DAD, DEMENTIA & DONUTS program is one of the best (and a personal favorite) that I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. The beauty and talent of your storytelling filled our hearts with empathy, compassion, humor, sadness, understanding, and a vision of what to expect when/if one ever faces dementia in his/her life. Pati, your story resonated with many and I have heard a multitude of wonderful, positive comments about your program. I also want to thank you for the marvelous, yummy treats - everyone loved the Dunkin’ Donuts you brought along! What a great bonus to add to your program! I sincerely wish you could hear all the wonderful comments people have shared about your program. It was excellent! You are beautiful inside and out and I feel blessed to have met you and to have you grace our library patrons with your storytelling talent. You are loved and appreciated by all who attended. Thank you so much! We definitely want you back for additional programming! We'll stay in touch."

"Pati, Praise the Lord.! Your efforts in storytelling and sharing the love of Jesus have huge rewards. There are so many times your message has impacted others through the Spirit and you¹ll never know. Those that were passed along to The Parable Fund from this one event are just a few God has given to encourage you to KEEP DOING WHAT YOU ARE DOING...IMPACTING LIVES FOR HIS GLORY. Thanks for sharing how God answers the prayers of those that are praying for and supporting you in various different ways. TO GOD BE THE GLORY, GREAT THINGS HE HAS DONE AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO. Be encouraged, my friend. Those hard and long drives, packing and unpacking props, sleepless nights rehearsing the script over and over, sending brochures, contacting and contacting potential places to present a program all are being used to reach people for Jesus."

"Dear Pati, Received your wonderfully presented 2017 annual report for The Parable Fund yesterday. Last night I had to charge my scooter. That normally takes about 8 to 10 hours, so headed to bed early with your report in hand. Hooked up the scooter, laid down, and began to read. Fantastic! The report was presented as a good read…not boring at all as reports can be. Illustrations and stories along with the statistics and scripture all were mixed together to inform each reader in a very interesting way. Again, God gave you a very busy year to present encouragement, spiritual messages, Scripture, and God’s love for each person in attendance. The report shows what a great joy that is for you as well. Each year the number of attendees seems to grow. Praise the Lord. All that hear the presentation receive the special blessing God wants them to have to continue on in their life’s journey. Thanks for sharing how things transpired through the year. God protected me through all sorts of ups and downs and will certainly be there traveling with you in 2018. So glad there are appointments already on the books for this year and even into 2019. God is touching lives through your life’s passion and devotion to Him. Praise the Lord. Keep enjoying what you enjoy so much. I’ll continue praying as you keep spreading joy to others. Stay warm this winter and safe on the roads. I wish you time to do more marketing, time to clean out files, and reorganize props as well as get a little R&R in too. You are a busy young lady."

"Pati, Thank you so very much for your very meaningful and entertaining message, CHRISTMAS PRESENCE. The ladies' comments were so very positive and affirming that you were easy to listen to, kept their attention and that they got so much from your stories and thoughts. One of the ladies shared with me yesterday at church that she brought a woman who wasn't a believer. She had been really touched by your sharing and said that she was going to start believing in prayer again. She was so excited for the open and receptive heart that her friend had. "Biblical Literacy is no longer relevant to the greater society. There is a dearth of solid Biblical knowledge and less of the same in the social gathering talks such as you give. I appreciate how you bring personal emotional history and culture back to one's consciousness. When tied with stories of faith from a Biblical truth the listener is more apt to hear what the Word really says. I'm fascinated by how you artfully use storytelling and weaving in Biblical truth, concepts, and principles. Keep up the good work of creatively telling the Good News! Thank you!"

"Thank you, Pati, for being the light and sunshine last night in your presentation at the Delta Kappa Gamma International meeting. We appreciated your wonderful story of the amazing life of Helen Keller and how you tied it to your own experience with your caring grade school teacher. As you mentioned in your program, "To teach is to touch lives forever." Well, YOU touched our lives with your heartfelt stories. May God's blessings continue to take you and your stories across the miles to encourage the hearts of many listeners."

"Thanks again, Pati, for "bringing alive" Katie Luther's story at our Senior Ministry fall event! Many expressions by those who attended were MOST appreciative of the FINE program. It was obvious that you have researched her story well. You personified Katie with humor and realism in "uncovering" her human character! You are a gifted and creative storyteller who provides enrichment, education, and enjoyment packed into your Christian faith-based presentation. And I hope that you will continue to tell her story multiple times for the 500th Anniversary of the Protestant Reformation in 2017, as we look at our historical roots. Thanks again, Pati, for launching for us a new year of ministry to and with the seniors here!"
